Celebrating Identity,
Nurturing Growth
Neurodiversity-affirming Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Key Workers
Our clinicians foster an individual's development through a respectful, playful, joyful, and engaging process. We use the power of relationships and human connections to promote the development of the capacities for: self-regulation, engagement, communication, shared social problem solving, and creative, organised, reflective thinking and reasoning.
The Nurture team embraces and respects neurodiversity. We advocate for relationship-based approaches that focus on promoting development and helps children in a respectful and accepting manner that appreciates every person for their unique individual differences.

How we nurture your child
Intake process
We start with a complimentary no-obligation 15-minute phone consultation with our senior team members to discuss your concerns and how the Nurture team can support your child's development and goals.
Our assessment process starts with a parent consultation. As parents knows their children best, we gain valuable insight and information from our parent consultations. This where we learn more about concerns, and goals.

Children understand so much more than we think! Hearing others talk about what he/she finds most challenging can be difficult. We therefore prefer to have these conversations without the child present.
Parent Consultation
Our clinician will determine the most appropriate way to assess your child. This may be completed across a few sessions.
The assessment process helps us identify your child's strengths and support needs. Following an assessment, a support/ therapy plan will then be developed.
Initial Assessment
Initial Assessment
Once a support plan or therapy plan has been determined, our clinician will meet with you to discuss the outcome of the assessment and provide an idea of how therapy will look like for your child.

Therapy/support plans may include face to face sessions with your child, non-face-to-face supports such as training of your child's care team.

Our clinicians welcome feedback and guidance on how they can tailor your child's therapy plan so that strategies can be carried over to everyday routines.
